Description

ProOne Traveler+ Gravity Water Filter is ideal for daily use at home, school, the office or even camping, with a 2.25 gallon capacity reservoir suited for small groups or individuals. ProOne’s unique countertop filtration system brings you clean, high quality drinking water free of harmful heavy metals, bacteria and protozoa.

A simple setup with no electricity or plumbing required, the Traveler+ Gravity Water Filter’s exclusive design makes it easy to improve water quality – and far more affordable than competitor models. Water is added to the gravity water filter’s upper chamber and flows down through the filter’s microscopic pores, which prevent the contaminants and other pollutants from passing through it. This leaves only clean, drinkable water to descend into the lower chamber. Want to check how much water is left in the tank? Just lift the upper container to view into the lower container.

Ideal for filtering large quantities of water without modifying plumbing, countertop gravity filters sit independently on a countertop for easy access to drinking water. They use the pressure of gravity along with the filter to remove contaminants from water, without relying on plumbing or electricity to function. When the reservoir is filled, the weight of the water feeds the liquid through the filters, into a tank beneath the filtration system. Model to model, flow rate varies by spigot design and water volume.

The ProOne Traveler+ device is made from 304 stainless steel for long lasting durability, and also includes a stainless 304 spigot and knob kit, non-slip pad, sponge and a 6” stand. A silver-infused ceramic filter helps prevent bacteria growth and captures unwanted sediment. Chlorine taste and odor don’t stand a chance against a carbon-based core designed for contaminant reduction.

Stainless steel water filters are highly popular in homes and offices due to their versatility, ease of use and reduction of plastic waste. More durable and aesthetically appealing than plastic, a stainless steel point-of-use water filtration system purifies water by removing contaminants including parasites and bacteria. It’s a more hygienic option than plastic, less susceptible to bacteria or mold development and possesses a higher resistance to corrosion.

When a water filtration system has NSF certifications and listings, it has been tested and certified to verify its specific claims. NSF International provides testing for water filters and refrigerator filters to certify their ability to remove certain contaminants and impurities from your water source. NSF certified water filters will contain packaging print that includes “NSF/ANSI” followed by a number. This signifies that the product has been certified to a specific filtration performance level. Without the NSF mark, a product is not NSF certified.

ProOne is committed to manufacturing independently tested, NSF certified water filter and water filter systems which meet or exceed the applicable NSF standards, so consumers have access to the safest, cleanest drinking water from the most reliable water sources on Earth.

The Traveler+ Gravity Water Filter is NSF ANSI 42 component certified, independently lab tested and proven to reduce/remove 200+ contaminants including fluoride, chlorine, chloramines, VOCs, bacteria, pharmaceuticals, lead and heavy metals, while leaving beneficial minerals in the water supply.

This is my second water filter purchase of this product & the first directly from the company. It is easy to set up. Easy to clean. It takes patience to set the water filter in the stand but if I can do it anyone can. I already bought a replacement filter for it since it only lasts a year. I use it everyday for myself & my two cats. I use a water pitcher for it & I only have to fill it once a day usually. I love the alkaline taste & my cats love it too.

We love our ProOne water filter. We could not believe how much dirt there was in the water until we had the ProOne for a couple Months.
We can no longer drink water from nowhere else but the filter. We are very satisfied with our purchase.

This water filter could not be more simple and trustworthy. It use it everyday, clean it once a month, the filters last forever, and my water tastes great and flouride free. The containers and spigot are high quality. The filters are easy to install and clean. It is the only water I drink. I fill up my water bottle and take it everywhere, and I use the sight glass spigot I added to my order to monitor when to fill it back to full. I have the Traveler and the Scout for on the road; you can find the right size for you and your family!

Great value for the money! Beautiful looking system and most importantly, works well in filtering the water. I used two the Propur (ProOne) pitchers for years and decided to finally make the jump to the Traveler, and I’m happy I did. Also, I researched the competitors before purchasing this system and found this one to be the easiest to use. It also filters fluoride (as well as many other things) without having to purchase an additional fluoride filter like some of the other systems.

This is a great gravity water filtration system and a perfect size for 1-2 people. I would suggest the larger one if you have greater water needs or more people due to the speed of water filtration but it tastes wonderful and is easy to setup.

I did a fair amount of research before buying the Pro One Traveler filter, and I have been extremely pleased with it. I did the blue dye test to make sure the filter really was doing its job, and it worked perfectly! Our water tastes clean, and even though our tap water smells like chemicals sometimes, our filtered water tastes great. And I love that it’s easy to use, easy to clean, and a reasonable price! We’ve had it for 6 months and have had zero problems with it. Very glad to have found this brand!

Thought this was going to be difficult to put together, but it was so easy! I’m so excited to start drinking clean fresh water and get away from the plastic bottles. When I looked up the comparisons to other filters Proone always scored higher. My only critique would be it is a little tall hits my cupboard door. Maybe they’ll come out with a shorter version 🙏

We have had our water filter system for a couple of years and continue to purchase the filters. Because we use a lot of filtered water every day, we have a filter system of another brand connected to the water faucet as well. The ProOne is the best. The water tastes purer and therefore we believe it is a much better system. We love the water! We trust this system to give us the purest water! Thank you ProOne!

I received my ProOne Traveler water filter a couple of weeks ago. I was hoping my son would help me put it together, but after a few days, it was apparent that if I wanted clean water, I would have to do it myself! It was very easy. Our city water smells and doesn’t taste very good at all. I was buying several gallons of water a week. This will pay for itself in no time! I love my ProOne!

Heard of ProOne from the Good Patriot Youtube channel. I am budget minded, so I got the ProOne Traveler+ Gravity Water Filter with one filter. It was easy to put together and doesn’t take up much space. Very easy to use and there’s such a difference in the taste of the water from out of the tap. I think it’s a very good investment in my health. I am very glad I got it.

I just got my 3 gallon. My water at my house taste disgusting and I was really excited. It’s a huge difference and the water taste amazing. I was a little skeptical because I almost thought this was a scam site when they didn’t charge me tax or shipping. Hundred percent would order this again and plan on getting my parents to order one as well.

I love theTraveler sized water filtration system from Pro One! It’s larger than i had expected & i was delightfully surprised. The outer stainless steel is beautiful, also. I currently am just filtering the water that comes out of my faucet because it has always just seemed ‘off’. My now-filtered water tastes so much better! I am so happy my friends suggested i try Pro One & I’m so glad that I did. Now I don’t need to continue buying gallons & bottles of water. I have recommended Pro One to other friends, as well. Also, the Pro One Outlet Store has amazing deals!💗 i will definitely be making future purchases with Pro One!

I moved into a new house where the tap water tastes like a swimming pool. I have never been picky about water, it’s my favorite thing to drink, but after a while I started not even wanting to drink any because it was so bad. THIS FILTER CHANGED EVERYTHING. Oh my gosh. I wasn’t thrilled that I would have to refill it by hand but it’s totally worth it. Now it’s the only water I want to drink. I don’t know how I loved water so much before. I make everyone who comes over do a taste test now and compare it to the tap. I’m so happy with my purchase!!!

I bought the traveler and very happy with the purchase. I love the taste of the water. I also bought the sight glass and was uncertain if it was needed. I’m glad I bought the sight glass. Initially removing the cover multiple times to see the level of the water, nothing else to see. I only remove the cover to add water. It’s very noticeable the smell of cholrine at times, from the water from your tap. It’s a small price to pay for this system in return to drink clean healthy water. ProOne was very helpful in answering my questions 2-3 phone calls. Very responsive and fast shipping. Very simple to install. I have no complaints and will refer to my friends. Very Pleased !

The greater the height of the water level above the showerhead the more pressure is created. A good general rule, would be to have the base of the cold water tank (the bottom of the tank) at least 1m higher than the shower head, as this should create enough pressure for a good water flow.

How do you calculate the full flow capacity of a pipe? ›

Example of How to Calculate Pipe Volume
  1. For a 1-inch pipe that measures 50-feet long:
  2. radius = 1 inch ÷ 2 = . 5 inch. length = 50 × 12 inches = 600 inches. volume = π (pi) × radius squared × length. volume = 3.14159 × (. 5 x . 5) × 600. volume = 3.14159 × . 25 × 600. volume = 471.24 in³

What is gravity in water ratio? ›

The "Specific Gravity" of a substance is the ratio of its mass to that of an equal volume of water at the same temperature and pressure. This is also the ratio of the densities of the two substances: SG = (mass of a volume V of a material)/(mass of a volume V of water) = (rMaterial/rWater).

What is normal water flow rate? ›

How much water per minute does a faucet use? The average flow rate for faucets is between 1.0 gpm and 2.2 gpm. In the US, the maximum flow rate for kitchen and bathroom faucets is 2.2 gpm at 60 psi.

What is normal water pressure for a house? ›

Water pressure is measured in psi, or pounds per square inch, and represents the force at which water enters your home from the water main. Normal psi for a home pipe system is between 30 and 80 psi. While you don't want the psi to be too low, it violates code to be above 80.

How many GPM do I need for a family of 4? ›

Generally, a family of four should have at least 10 gpm. However, if family members are home often or use a large amount of water for activities such as gardening or showering, then the family should seek a plumbing system capable of providing 40 to 50 gpm.

What are the levels of filter? ›

There are three levels of filtering: Universal, Global, and Local.

What does a filter rated at 20 microns indicate? ›

Fluid filters can have a micron rating which expresses the filter's ability to remove contaminants based on the size of the particles. For example, a filter rated for “twenty (20) microns” means that the filter will capture and contain all particles in the fluid that are 20 microns and larger in diameter.

How is the filtration rating of a filter measured? ›

Air filter elements are evaluated using an industry wide standard (ISO5011) and their performance is expressed as an efficiency level. This efficiency level is determined by feeding air containing a known concentration of standard test dust into the air cleaner until the filter reaches the end of its life.

Which water filter removes the most contaminants? ›

Reverse Osmosis Systems

A reverse osmosis system combined with a carbon filter is most effective at removing water contaminants.

How many microns should my water filter be? ›

Filters rated between 0.5-1 microns should be used when looking to remove bacteria from drinking water as this range is capable of trapping even microscopic organisms like Giardia lamblia which could otherwise cause serious health issues if ingested over time.

Which filter has highest rate of filtration? ›

Explanation: The rate of filtration is highest in pressure filter and its filtration rate lies between 6000 to 15000 litres per hour per m2 of filter area while in rapid sand and roughing filter, it is between 6000 to 8000 litres per hour per m2 of filter area.

Do higher rating filters restrict airflow? ›

While the highest MERV ratings are the most effective for air quality, they can harm your HVAC system. A higher MERV rating means a higher resistance, which means less airflow.

Is MERV 11 too high for home? ›

In most cases, a MERV 11 air filter isn't too high for residential use. Generally speaking, anything under a MERV 13 air filter should provide very efficient air purification in a home without impacting airflow.

What is a high quality filter? ›

A high-quality HEPA filter can trap 99.97% of dust particles that are 0.3 microns in diameter. For comparison's sake, a human hair is about 50 to 150 microns in diameter.

How do I know if my water filter is working properly? ›

The most effective way to determine if your water filter is working properly is to test your water before and after it passes through your filter. Such analysis is called performance testing because it tests the effectiveness of your filter in reducing or removing potentially harmful contaminants that pass through.

What happens if you leave water filter in too long? ›

Your filter can break down over time, meaning it will no longer be able to filter out the contaminants in your water. If you don't change this before too long, these harmful chemicals and organisms could end up back inside of your home - which defeats the whole purpose of having a water filter.

How long does it take for filter to clear water? ›

Depending on how cloudy your water is, it may take 2-3 days for your water to clear. If you're using a clarifier, you'll need to run your filter 24/7, keep your water chemistry balanced, and add the proper amount of water clarifier every other day until it's clear.

How do I increase water pressure in my filter? ›

Adding an electric booster pump increases the RO production rate, boosts the pressure tank storage volume, rejects more contaminants and increases faucet flow rate even if the reverse osmosis membrane pressure rating is met by the water supply.

Why is water not flowing after filter change? ›

The main cause for water not flowing through a filter after installation, is because there may be air caught somewhere in the water line to the fridge.

How do I know if my filter flow is too strong? ›

Signs That the Fish Tank Filter Is Too Powerful
  1. Your fish struggle to swim or swim differently from usual.
  2. Your fish tend to remain hidden throughout the day rather than swimming around the tank.
  3. Your fish find it challenging to find balance.
  4. The current interferes with your fish's feeding patterns.

How do you increase filter efficiency? ›

To increase air-filter efficiency, select a filter with a lower pressure drop. Filters with lower pressure drops have less resistance, which increases airflow and helps your air conditioner operate more efficiently. Dust-holding capacity is closely related to pressure drop.

Do water filters restrict flow? ›

For drinking water via a filtration system, filtered water will flow at a slightly slower rate than unfiltered water, because the filter media restricts the flow of the water. This restriction helps the filter trap unwanted contaminants.

How do you know when a filter press is full? ›

How do I know when the filter press is full? The diaphragm pump will get to 30 second to one minute intervals between thrusts, indicating that pressure has increased due to solids building up inside the press cavities. This is your signal that the press is full.

What is the advantage of gravity filter? ›

Gravity filtration is an easy way to remove solid impurities or the precipitation from an organic liquid. The impurity is trapped in the filter. Gravity filtration can collect any insoluble solid.

What are the pros of gravity filtration? ›

Gravity filtration is the gentler of the two methods, and it can preserve both solid and liquid parts from a mixture.

What do gravity filters remove from water? ›

Most gravity water filters are capable of removing chlorine. However, some filters remove more than chlorine. These filters can remove fluoride, heavy metals, bacteria, and other chemicals, including pesticides and herbicides.

When would you choose gravity filtration? ›

Gravity filtration is generally used when the filtrate (liquid that has passed through the filter paper) will be retained, while the solid on the filter paper will be discarded.

How do you clean a gravity water filter? ›

Use a cleaning solution made of 5 mL (1 tsp) bleach to 1 L (4 cups) of water. Wash all plastic parts in cleaning solution. Rinse with clean tap water. Do not use cleaning solution for the Ceramic Pre-Filter and 5-Stage Filter.

Is there a water filter that removes everything? ›

No filters or treatment systems are 100% effective in removing all contaminants from water, and you need to know what you want your filter to do before you go shopping (see Step 1). Not all filters of a particular type use the same technology, so you should read the label carefully.

Is gravity based water purifier safe? ›

Alternatively, if you have a municipality or corporation water supply at your home, a gravity-based water purifier is enough as the water is already chemically purified. Overall, these are safer than drinking boiled or chemically purified water.

What is the difference between gravity filter and pressure filter? ›

Pressure filters are similar in concept to rapid gravity filters, except that they are contained in a steel pressure vessel. Perforated pipes or a steel plate with nozzles are used for collecting the filtered water and for distribution of the washwater and air scour.

Which is more efficient pressure filter or rapid gravity filtration rate? ›
